RU-Indiana Tailgate discussion
BREP needs everyone to step it up this week.
Down our fearless leader Bill this week, we look to rebound against Indiana with a noon start. Let's get the tailgate discussion started. I'm guessing we are looking for a breakfast themed tailgate, so if anyone has some specific ideas lets throw them out now.
Breakfast sounds good to me but we need to know if Chris, Basil and/or Scott will be bringing their grills so we know if hot breakfast is an option, or if we just want to do a continental (aka cold) breakfast.
My group this week will consist of me, Sharon, Adam and his girlfriend Morgan who will be making her first-ever tailgate appearance. I will be using my 3 tickets plus TF Scott's. Larry will also be in our car for a total of 5.
Also, Julie will be there with 3 of her friends since they are celebrating their friend Katie's 18th birthday by tailgating and attending the game. They have their own set of 4 tickets in our section (row 20) and I bought them their own Black Lot parking pass. They will probably just meet us at the tailgate rather than start at Walmart.
I just inherited 2 extra tickets and a Black lot parking pass from my neighbor Bob who was at our Michigan tailgate. The seats are in row 20, section 123 (two sections to the left of ours). If anyone wants to claim the tickets and/or parking pass please post here, otherwise I'll just bring them on Saturday and they will be up for grabs.
Far as I know, I'll have maybe 2 up for grabs this week, as Shane's joining the Skurats and Kaitlyn and I have alternate plans. Chris is welcome to use any of the stuff at my house -- grill, tools, etc., obviously. Happy Breeders Cup weekend!
Hey RU Friends, I am just back from a trade show this morning so just seeing this string. I am driving up with Evan & Shane. I can grab Bill's grill if we need it. I am not going to have much time today since just back in town and busy at work. I am fine with a casual breakfast and can pick something up. Are we grilling?
Hi-on behalf of Larry: Yes, Chris, please bring your grill. Basil will be chiming in today (he's bringing a grill and will be getting breakfast items like eggs, rolls, pork roll).
OK, will do. I will bring grill, table, chairs, corn hole, etc. No time to food shop or get to store so I will contribute to whoever is taking the lead on buying items. See you all tomorrow!
I just picked up some assorted mini muffins for tomorrow. If Dave brings crumb cake and/or Dunkin Donuts, and Eric and Andrea bring Danish, I think we should be good with food if Basil is bringing the pork roll, eggs, cheese and rolls. I assume there will be plates?
I know Eric and Andrea are bringing beer, but I'll still bring some Miller Lite and Yuengling (can't break with tradition). I'll also bring sodas, apple juice, milk and OJ.
I still have two extra tickets in section 123 plus an extra parking pass.
I just picked up some mini-muffins as well for the tailgate. So, we'll have a bunch of those. I also have some beer and Diet Mt Dew to bring. If anyone wants bagels, I can pick those up, too.
I'm going to be 7 people. The other quads are coming along with Zachary's friend Jen. I'll get all the porkroll egg n cheese Dixon and stuff. We will bring the grill and our normal stuff. Basil and Co
