RU-New Mexico Tailgate Discussion

Picture with words "Pete" and "Burrito" and absolutely no other relevance
With another noon time start for this week's game, looks like we'll keep the 8:45 AM meet up time at Walmart. Pete has already pledge to get things started with making Breakfast Burritos. Let the discussion begin on who can bring what this week.

  1. In addition to the breakfast burritos, I will bring beer -- Miller Lite, plus 19 cans of Yuengling which include 13 leftover from last week. I will also bring Coke, Diet Coke and apple juice.

Does anyone have an extra ticket? Sharon and I will be joined by our neighbors Donna and Glenn so I'm in the market for a 4th ticket.

  2. I will chip in with a loaded tater tot casserole, Southwestern style. I see the Iowa game was announced as another 12pm start. While I love my egg & potato breakfasts, I am confident I will be ready for a hearty beef-of-any-sort tailgate by 10am on Saturday 9/24/16!!!

  4. Me and the kids will make biscochitos, or traditional New Mexican sugar cookies. Kaitlyns friend Erin and mom Anna will join us, bringing a few boxes of Dunkin Joe. I'll bring tequila for Mexican coffees. And the grill and usual stuff. Oh, and BRES of course.

  8. Not sure we need another side dish, but I think Andrea mentioned something with corn? What else would go with burritos and potatoes?

In lieu of another hot dish, maybe some muffins (including corn to stay with the southwest theme) or other breakfast pastries? But everything doesn't need to be southwestern.

  10. Or, following pete's thought maybe some muffins (corn too). I'll head to the store and let the available choices guide my decision but count on us for something corn like!
